Is MMOXXPLAY legel?

Because the games that are being played for cash prizes are games of skill and not games of chance, it is legal in UK and most states of USA. However, there are 6 states within the United States where the participation in skill-based video game tournaments for cash prizes is considered illegal. If you live in the following states, you may not play for cash prizes on GamerSaloon.com. Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Maryland and Tennessee.

Is MMOXXPLAY secure?

We places the highest concern on making sure your sensitive information is protected. Our databases and servers are highly secured with robust encryption and we never store your credit card information. All credit card transactions are done securely through PayPal.

How does MMOXXPLAY Work?

MMOXXPLAY is a eSports Tournament Platform. We act as a secure third party for players to compete in one-on-one competitions and tournaments - for free, for cash, and for other awesome prizes like FIFA COINS.

To get started, you’ll want to SIGN UP. After you’re signed up, check out our OPEN MATCHES which allows you to join an existing open match, create your own match or use the main lobby chat to organize a match with another member of the community.

Once you’ve accepted a challenge or entered a tournament, the entry fee money from each player's account will be withdrawn and the combined prize pool will be held in our secure escrow account. Players can communicate through the match lobby chat as they set up their game and prepare to face off!

After you’ve completed your game, you and your opponent(s) will report the outcome of the match. Once the score is verified, the winner’s account will automatically be credited with the winnings!

What video games does MMOXXPLAY host competion for

We currently supports FIFA, NBA 2K, Madden, NHL  for head-to-head skill-based competitions, as well as tournaments. We plan to expand to other games soon.

How do I play a match?

The exact steps vary by game, but in general:
Add your opponent as a friend on Xbox Live or PSN using their Gamertag or Username.
Go to the game mode where you can play a friend online. For example, the Online Friendlies mode in FIFA.
Send a game invite to your opponent.
Check and confirm the match rules and settings.
Start the match.

Note: Be sure to take pictures/screenshots of the match final score in case of a dispute about the match result.

What Happens if a opponent or I get disconnected during a online match?

It is the responsibility of each player to ensure that their connection is suitable for playing online. In the event of a disconnection, you and your opponent must finish the remaining time of the match. i.e. In FIFA, if the disconnection occurred in the 30th minute, the new game should be played until the 60th. We highly recommend recording video of all game footage in case of a dispute.

What are dispute and how did they get handled?

After completing your Head-to-Head match or Tournament competition, both teams will report the scoreline from the game. In the event that both players do not report the scoreline, a “dispute” is created.

We take our gaming very seriously at MMOXXPLAY and disputes are no different.

Disputes generally come from two circumstances:

1) Accidental - You won 3-1. But in your gamer’s glee, you mistakenly report 3-0. We understand this happens occasionally, but please take an extra moment next time.
2) Intentional - You lost 2-0. You report that you won 2-0. This is a very serious offense and can result in your account being banned from MMOXXPLAY.

How much does is cost me to play?

It's totally free for you to sign in, deposit money, play free tournament, etc.  There are no monthly charges to have a MMOXXPLAY account. We take 10% from each player's entry fee for Head-to-Head matches. This is included in the entry fee - not in addition to it. i.e. $10 entry fee = $1 fee from each player, $18 prize pool. If math is canceled, your entry fee will be returned to your balance.

How much money can I play in Head-to-head match?
